Leicestershire County Council Gully Emptying Top Up Service 2017

Leicestershire County Council (the Council) is seeking to identify and appoint one Contractor to provide a top up gully emptying service in the northern part of the County. The Contract will be awarded for carrying out during the 2017/ 2018 financial year with a service period between 4th September 2017 and 31st March 2018. It is anticipated the contract will include the emptying in the region of 30,000 gully pots on a planned basis. The service consists of the following elements: - Planned gully emptying including provision of water. - Tagging gullies that cannot be emptied because of jammed lids, parked cars or require jetting. - Completion of daily records. - Disposing arisings at the Councils gully recycling facility at Billesdon depot on a free of charge basis. - Temporary Traffic Management. All plant engaged on the service shall be fitted with working GPS tracker devices capable of displaying real time information of the plant whereabouts. The Contractor shall arrange for an internet link so that the Employer can have access to the plant real time whereabouts.
