Supporting Circus Starr's Inclusive Performances

We are proud to continue supporting Circus Starr, the not-for-profit organisation that delivers accessible and inclusive circus performances for children with disabilities and families facing challenging circumstances.

This year, our contribution has helped provide six complimentary tickets, ten sensory packs, and additional support towards performance costs, helping more children and families experience a live circus show in a safe and welcoming environment.

Dinefwr Group Riding for the Disabled

We’re proud to be sponsoring the upcoming Dinefwr Group Riding for the Disabled event taking place on 7th June. The group provides opportunities through therapeutic horse riding, helping to improve confidence, wellbeing and independence for disabled children and adults.

Accelerating Durable Carbon Removal

Through Stripe Climate, we direct 100% of our contributions to the purchase of durable carbon removal via Frontier, supporting early-stage climate technologies with long-term impact.

Our contributions support ocean alkalinity enhancement and enhanced rock weathering. The source page notes that companies supported through Frontier have progressed from pre-purchase programmes to multi-million-dollar offtake agreements.

Donation to Circus Starr Inclusive Performances

We supported Circus Starr, a not-for-profit organisation that brings accessible and inclusive circus performances to children with disabilities and families in difficult circumstances. Our contribution helped fund free tickets, enabling more families to enjoy a safe and magical live show.

Early Learning and Childcare funding

Oscar teamed up with Pregnant Then Screwed around concerns about looming cuts to Early Learning and Childcare funding.

Our eLobby tool was used to help individuals contact MPs and MSPs directly. The original page records hundreds of submissions from citizens taking part in the campaign.

Support for UK Key Workers and Frontline Workers

Oscar helped promote Keylink's free counselling and support sessions for those working across the frontlines of Public Services. The service has since ceased, but its website provides contact information for those needing support.

NHS, Social Care and Frontline Workers Day

Oscar was proud to support NHS, Social Care and Frontline Workers Day, organised by Pageantmaster Bruno Peek LVO OBE OPR and his team. The event was held on 5 July 2021 to celebrate and pay tribute to people working on the frontline.

NHS IT Support

Working with VIQU, a Birmingham-based IT recruiter, Oscar helped contact CEOs, CIOs and IT directors across NHS Trusts during the COVID-19 response. The source page states that VIQU reached more than 2,000 people and filled over 200 volunteer posts, with an estimated saving to NHS Trusts of approximately £4 million.
