Building 6 is a detached building on the North site at IWM Duxford and is currently occupied as an archive store. Part of the building will remain in use during these works. A summary of the works is as follows: Installation of new lift shaft and lift car; Structural and other alterations to provide new photographic, conservation and research facilities; New partitioning and fire doors; New floor coverings; General redecorations; New kitchen and bathroom installations; New conservation laboratory fittings and lighting rig to Photographic Studio; Provision of window film and blackout blinds to windows; Associated mechanical and electrical alterations and installations.
