The British Consul General's residence at 15 Chestnut Street in Boston is in need of services upgrading, at the same time the building is to be given a refresh of finishes. Considerable making good works to the building are also required following asbestos and lead paint abatement works. Scope of work The scope of works is to include demolition and strip out of existing services and finishes and either replacement with new, or adaptions to existing. New bathrooms and kitchen are required, and making good works to the building following asbestos and lead paint abatement. The historic staircase will require either replacement or strengthening, and minor external works are to be undertaken, possibly including a retaining garden wall.
