The Corporate Officers of the House of Lords and the House of Commons (the Authority) require a Contractor to undertake covert physical security testing utilising a variety of prohibited items (as agreed with the Parliamentary authorities) at the designated search points. The Contractor will also be expected to provide recommendations on industry best-practice and emerging processes and techniques and provide monthly performance reports utilising the data captured and recommended improvements to processes. The Authority requires up to 22 covert tests per calendar month delivered across three or four occasions. Suppliers are required to download the Non-Disclosure Deed (NDD) from the portal before accessing the tender documents. The NDD must be submitted as a correspondence and a declaration must also be submitted, stating that the NDD has not been modified. Access to the tender documents will not be granted until the signed NDD has been received.
