Soft market testing for landlords to supply accommodation for young people with high to medium support needswho are at risk of homelessness.

Bristol City Council is conducting soft market testing to obtain landlords to supply accommodation for youngpeople with high to medium support needs who are at risk of homelessness as current accommodation does not provide the range of provision required to meet needs. The council is looking to identify 2 or 3 schemes that will be able to provide a total of around 50 units for young people with high to medium support needs. The accommodation must meet both the West of England Rental Scheme Standard and also the council's own standards for supported accommodation. Please refer to ProContract for full list of requirements. Once suitable accommodation has been identified support contracts will be let within these schemes by following an appropriate procurement procedure. Thus there will be a contract between the support provider(who may be the landlord) and the council and a separate agreement between the support provider and the landlord. There will be no contract between the Council and the landlord. It is anticipated the procurement procedure for support contracts will commence in January 2018. Please refer to ProContract for more information
