Worcestershire Skills4Work Programme 2017

The County Council is seeking to appoint Service Providers for the provision of bespoke support and training for the unemployed and those economically inactive and seeking a return to the labour market but facing skills related barriers to entering the labour market in Worcestershire. The aim will be to deliver the vocationally related skills needed by local employment. The Council is seeking to appoint Service Providers with funding available from the European Social Fund. Worcestershire Skills4Work Programme is funded by European Social and Investment Fund (ESIF) to address one of the key priorities of Worcestershire LEP's ESIF Strategy. The aim of this Contract is to deliver a programme of support to the Worcestershire's most disadvantaged residents who are economically inactive facing skills related barriers away from the local labour market. The County Council requires information from suppliers for the provision of the support/skills to commence from approximately 28th June 2017 with programme completion in July 2018. The programme will be delivered as part of Worcestershire Business Central (WBC) - Worcestershire Growth Hub. The WBC is the gateway for the support being provided to businesses and local residents
