Oxford City Council wishes to award a contract to a single supplier (contractor) for Development Management Services. The contract will require the agent to provide; Architect and design services (including all necessary feasibility and survey work) Project Management (including cost management, employers agent and clerk of works) Management of the planning process to obtain permissions Tender and procurement for a construction partner who delivers modern methods of construction. Of particular interest for this pilot scheme is volumetric offsite manufacture. Construction contract management. In addition the supplier will test the feasibility and value for money of contracting with Oxford Direct Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Council to carry out the installation of the homes.
