Autistic Adults - Training (Generic Awareness and Specialist Assessor)

Cornwall Council is inviting Tenders who are able to deliver high quality Autism training that enables the Council to excel in its Statutory duties pertaining to autistic adults (meeting requirements as outlined by the Care Act 2016 and NICE Quality Standards). This is to include a program of 'Specialist Assessor' training for professionals working within Cornwall Council Adult Social Services (50 Staff) and 'Generic Awareness' training for all frontline staff (400 staff). This is a 3 year contract, requiring enough places for 50 delegates on the 'Specialist Assessor' training and 400 places on the 'Generic Awareness' training. It is expected that all training will be delivered 'in-house', within the County of Cornwall, in venues booked by Adult Social Services. The Council uses a web-based system on the South West Portal found at www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk (DueNorth) to manage quote and tender processes. New users to the system must register on this site to obtain a username and password before gaining access to the system. All interaction with the Council in respect of this requirement will be conducted through the DueNorth system. In the event that you need to contact the Authority in relation to this opportunity please follow the instructions on the advert.
