IT services: consulting, software development, Internet and support. A contract for emergency mobilising and communications systems for the Essex Fire Authority. The systems will also be provided to the Bedfordshire Fire & Rescue Service. The Essex Fire Authority wishes to award a contract to a prime contractor, or to contractors supplying products under Lots. The contract will provide replacement emergency mobilising and communications systems (EMCS) which will deliver an end to end solution for emergency call handling, mobilising, communications and incident management. The solution will include, but may not be limited to the provision of: Computer aided despatch system/mobilising system, an integrated communications control system (ICCS), remote location communications equipment (station end equipment), partial integration with corporate Geographical information system (GIS)/Gazetteer, integration into FRS mobile data terminals and the Airwave network to provide mobile data and status messaging, integration with some FRS back office ICT systems.
The contract will include delivery, installation and configuration of all system components, all relevant software hardware and provision of all software licences including all through-life maintenance provision requirements.
