The purpose of this competitive tender is to establish a Framework Agreement with suitably qualified Supplier or suppliers in order to facilitate the provision of Coach and Chauffeur Hire services to the University of Birminghams internal customers using best practice quality control and value for money principles whilst ensuring the safety of the passengers. The tender is split into 2 Lots. Lot 1 Coach Hire and Lot 2 Chauffeur Hire.
The University anticipates that it will award a Framework agreement to multiple suppliers but reserves the right to award to a Single Supplier at the discretion of the University. Suppliers are able to submit responses for either and/or all LOTs but must clearly state which LOT or LOTs they are expressing interest in.
Lot 1 Coach Hire.
The requirement is varied and forms an extremely important service to the Students Budget Centres and Academics Internal Customers. The Supplier is required to meet professional standards in Coach Hire Services to the University.
Lot 2 Chauffeur Hire.
The requirement is varied and forms an extremely important service to the Academics and VIPs. The Supplier is required to meet professional standards in Chauffeur Hire services to the University.
