The current Coventry City Council Fibre WAN maintenance installation contract is due to expire on 31.3.2013. Coventry City Council hosts a ducted fibre network across the city over 140 Km in length and is critical in providing services to schools, libraries and other establishments across the city. It also carries CCTV, Primelines bus timetable data, traffic management data, Bus Lane Enforcement data and supports a city centre public WiFi service. Coventry City Council also has a commercialisation agreement in place for existing and future ISP provision to commercial business via third parties.
