Contract value: The equipment must have ECAC LEDs Type B Standard 2 or Standard 3 detection approval. The equipment must be compliant with the appropriate safety certification such as the UK Ionising Radiation Regulations and CE standards or other appropriate certification. All equipment must be capable of returning a decision on each item screened within 10 seconds. Equipment should be self-contained and delivered ready for use. Tenderers must be prepared to support any operational trial undertaken by Heathrow Airport. It is anticipated that the initial equipment order will be for approximately 70 units in October 2013 rising to 200 by November 2014.Estimated value excluding VAT Range: between 8 000 000 and 12 000 000 GBP
