Contract value: ScotRail has an ITSO smartcard scheme in place at a number of stations within its Scottish network. The estate consists of a HOPS, smartcard validation devices including automatic ticket barriers (117), ticket vending machines (106), on train validation equipment (600) and platform validation equipment (140). The smartcard scheme is expanding out to additional stations and the number of users (more than 12000) is growing proportionately. The present system has a number of key suppliers and the service support contract requires the management, integration and testing of the existing smartcard estate to ensure its continued operation and maximise its customer benefits.Estimated value excluding VAT: 350 000 GBP
