Construction work for school buildings. Primary school construction work. Secondary school construction work. Special school construction work. The London Borough of Hillingdon is seeking responses from organisations wishing to participate in a tender for the provision of a Works Contractor for the construction (incorporating design development) for new-build schools and for adaptations and extensions to existing schools in the London Borough of Hillingdon.
The requirement provides an interim measure to enable competition whilst an "Open Procedure" "Call For Competition" Notice (OJEU Notice 2012-OJS227-373555-en) establishes a long-term framework.

Contract value: Establishment of a Works Contractor to construct probably three schools (possibly increasing to six), whose total construction value is between £25 million and £50 million.The intention of the council is to award one contract for the bundled-value but the council reserves the right to part-award or not award any contract, at its sole discretion.
