II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s) :
The aim is to establish a Service Level Agreement with a preferred manufacturer/supplier/installer for the supply(and installation) of GRP external door & frame sets in support of new build contracts, refurbishment programmes and response maintenance services for Sovereign Housing Association, and members of the Sovereign Development Consortium (8 member associations) and Westworks (10 member associations and local authorities).
The intention is that through our existing alliances with key contracting and developing partners, we extend these partnership and contractual frameworks to include a preferred GRP external door & frame set manufacturer/supplier/installer to deliver a consistent, high quality procurement service to an agreed programme, with a focus on improving efficiencies, reducing costs, increasing long term customer satisfaction, and achieving sustainable design and management solutions that will minimise, as far as is practicable, the whole life cost implications upon the clients' maintenance and housing management budgets.
