TV TRISTRAM 2012/2013 UPKEEP

Repair and maintenance services of ships. Repair and maintenance services of ships. TV TRISTRAM is moored in Portland harbour. She is used by the Royal Marines as a training ship. She has her own power supply onboard and limited accommodation. She was converted by A&P Falmouth in 2007 then towed to Portland. Following this conversion she was certified by MOD Naval Authorities for 5 years. The aim of this Upkeep is to undertake the required work to maintain the safety certification and to incorporate some minor modifications following Operational experience. It is the Operator’s preference that the vessel remains at the buoy to undertake the work. The work specification requires the following work to be undertaken: hull preservation; internal and external (no docking work envisaged), small structural modifications and repairs identified during the Pre Upkeep Material Assessment, safety re-certification. All planned maintenance activities are up to date. A recent asbestos survey has been carried out and will be supplied as part of the ITT.
