The contract is to provide delivery of workshops, courses and one to one business support throughout the Marches LEP (Herefordshire, Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin) area. The contract is split into 3 regional area lots and bids can be for all areas or 1 or 2 areas. There will be no weighting if a bid is provided for all 3 regional areas; they will each be marked on their merits.
The business support project will support individuals to start up their own business, business survival past 12 months, targeting unemployed individuals, attract existing businesses to the Marches LEP area and support businesses to improve performance. Additionally in the Telford and Wrekin area there is a requirement to assist 12 social enterprises over the life of the project.
