To support this ambition, we are seeking to establish a framework of Web Production Experts who will work within the Web Team to manage specific projects and developments. Individuals or organisations offering one, several or all of the following areas of expertise are encouraged to submit tender responses.Project Management.The Science Museum is seeking Web Project Managers and Producers to work on a short-term basis (4 weeks to 3 years, depending on project needs), managing discrete deliverables.Suppliers should have demonstrable experience of Leading and co-ordinating the development of the creative vision and detailed scope of web deliverables (including information-rich websites, games and interactives) through requirements analysis, audience research and competitor analysis Applying both agile and waterfall project management techniques in a flexible way to suit the needs of the project and organisation Creating and managing schedules taking into account cross-dependencies, shared resources and stakeholder commitmentsManaging budgets, including taking responsibility for budget allocation within pre-agreed parameters, maximising value for money and limiting riskManaging external suppliers and contractors with a range of specialist technical and design skillsWorking with internal and external stakeholders and contributorsDelivering high quality web products to time, budget and quality expectationsIn addition, they should demonstrate expertise in one or more of the following areas:- User experience;- Editorial;- Accessibility;- Acceptance testing;- Management of technical web development.
