Official Partner opportunities at DigitalCity Business DigitalCity Business is the business driver for the developing DigitalCity supercluster based in the Tees Valley. Over the past six years it has been instrumental in developing a vibrant business community of digital technology, digital media and creative companies. In the same time Middlesbrough – its primary base – has gone from the bottom of the high growth potential business table to fourth - out of four hundred areas in the UK. While historically based around Teesside University, DigitalCity has always supported businesses across the Tees Valley and the North East, and pan Tees Valley activity is now enshrined in the Local Enterprise Partnership’s Digital Action Plan. As a result, we expect the hundred or more businesses working closely with DigitalCity Business to expand significantly, and the number of new start-ups to continue to rise. DigitalCity Business is now making Official Partner opportunities available to professional services companies including [but not limited to] legal practices, accountancy firms and HR businesses. These will be limited in number and gain the Official Partner organisation a number of benefits including affiliation with the DigitalCity brand, facilitated access to the businesses in the DigitalCity cluster, and the opportunity to make direct company with many of them through surgeries and workshops. There is a range of Official Partner levels available. While cash is never far from any such opportunity, DigitalCity Business believes that other contributions can be as valuable, and as a result our offer makes it possible to mix cash with in-kind support.
