Welfare services for children and young people. Dorset County Council are seeking expressions of interest from organisations who wish to be considered for participation within a pilot framework agreement to provide activities/services for families who meet the criteria of the Troubled Families Government Initiative. This initiative in Dorset is known as "Dorset Families Matter". The framework providers shall contract directly with the Authority, who will match the service user with the most appropriate service provider(s) from the Framework agreement.
The purpose of the framework is to provide access to a suite of activities/services that can be drawn down by the Authority utilising the agreed binding terms and conditions formed under the contract. For the sake of clarity it is the intention of the Authority to contract directly with the framework provider(s) to provide effective complete service packages to families on a demand basis. The purpose of this exercise is to establish a pool of pre-qualified providers through the framework agreement.
This is the current methodology under consideration by the Authority. As the provision of the service is currently under development it may be necessary for the Authority to vary this approach to the market to meet those service developments and it may be that the route for the delivery of this service may vary. Should this happen potential suppliers shall be informed accordingly.
