THE LONDON BOROUGH OF CAMDEN IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE LONDON BOROUGH OF LAMBETH AND THE LONDON BOROUGH OF ISLINGTON. CONCESSION CONTRACT – FILM SERVICE The London Boroughs of Camden, Islington and Lambeth are seeking applications from suitably qualified providers for the provision of a film service which will be let as a concession contract on a revenue share basis. A three year contract is offered with the option to extend by another two years. It is intended that the concession contract will start on 1st May 2013. The service will act as the sole contact point for all applications to film within the boroughs and provide liaison where necessary, with Council departments and affected local stakeholders. The main objectives of the service are: • Effective management and marketing of filming in the boroughs • Increase in the income derived from filming in the boroughs • Management of a responsive service that balances the needs of film makers with local people, businesses, and others using the area. This contract will cover the following aspects of a film location function for the boroughs including dealing with all filming requests, managing the day to day running of the services and supporting film crews on location.
