Out of hour’s security service.
This service will be a pro active Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) service dealing with customers/perpetrators when incidents are happening this will provide whg first professional witness support to enable us to take swift action.
This service will run in line with the CCTV out of hour’s service and will be supported by colleagues from Community Safety Team.
We would require a provider to supply resources to enable us facilitate these services.
For this service we will need approximately 6 to 8 security personel to cover the shift, A/L, sickness.
CCTV out of Hours.
Fully functional CCTV control room.
To monitor all high rise blocks and hot spot areas initiate pro-active out of hours service from incidents. Download all evidence for the Community Safety Team throughout the downtime.
Answer all out of hours call from customers for emergency ASB and repairs.
This service will run from 17:00hrs to 9:00hr Monday to Friday and 24 hours Saturday and Sunday.
For this we will need approximately 6 to 8 colleagues to cover the shift, A/L, sickness.
Concierge at 100 Hatherton Street.
To cover Hatherton Street front of house from 17:00 hrs to 21:00hrs to receive any guests and ensure the building is secure, (patrol the building throughout the night).
21:00hrs 9:00hrs to go back in the rota of the CCTV control room, this will mean only one colleague will be available in the control, room from 17:00 to 21:00hrs
For this we would need three security personel to ensure cover for the shift, A/L, sickness.
Mobile Response.
To provide a responsive pro-active mobile service throughout the borough dealing with ASB in a pro-active manner insuring the customer is aware whg have attended and dealt with or witnessed the ASB by contacting the complainant directly.
The shift would start at 17:00hrs to 3:00hrs Monday to Friday. Saturday and Sunday evenings 17:00hrs to 4:00hrs.
This will require a bank of four colleagues to cover A/L sick and shifts.
Office Cover mobile patrol.
To visit four offices to ensure security, and call if security is breached this will link into the mobile patrol.
The contract shall be for an initial period of 3yrs with a further 2yr extension period pending successful performance of the initial contract.
Insurance: whg will require the following levels of insurance: Professional Indemnity 1 000 000 GBP; Employers Liability 5 000 000 GBP; Public Liability 5 000 000 GBP.

Contract value: The successful contractor(s) must be able to show a commitment to providing effective services that provide value for money to whg and its customers including both tenants and leaseholders.The proposed initial contract period will be for 3 years commencing on or about 1.4.2013 and with the option for an extension to this initial period for a period of up to a further 2 years all subject to provisions for earlier termination including a break clause and annual renewals based on meeting and maintaining Key Performance Indicators.Whg reserves the right to withdraw from this procurement procedure at anytime without awarding a contract. Whg and / or its advisors shall not be liable for and will not pay any costs in respect of the preparation of any application and tender submission of any applicant or bidder whether they are successful or unsuccessful and all applicants and bidders are to be responsible for all of the costs and expenses they incur as a result of participating in this procurement process, irrespective of whether the procedure is completed or is abandoned without any appointment.
