This contract is for the hire of vehicles including mini-buses to support Hampshire County Councils client departments and partners who have ad-hoc requirements for vehicles to support business operations. This allows for a one stop shop via the hire desk operation managed by HTM to hire fit for purpose vehicles from an approved provider at competitive rates for the vehicle and that includes the options to procure insurances to cover the vehicle while on hire, and in relation to the user's geographical location.The requirements will vary from petrol, diesel, and electric vehicles and cover a wide variety of vehicle types from small cars, medium cars, large cars, box/panel vans, 4x4, and mini-buses that can be supplied and operated in and around Hampshire as a county and further as required. The majority of hires would be manual transmission but on occasion and with approval from HTM automatic transmissions could also be hired. The Service Providers appointed to these interim arrangements are proven to offer the full range of services HTM and its clients require and rely on for their work requirements. Vehicles provided are required to meet a set standard of roadworthiness and as such all vehicles that do not meet this requirement would be replaced by the supplier at a no fee charge, when the non-conformity is identified on delivery to the hirer.
