DSTL currently manages an ATF (Anechoic Test Facility) at Boscombe Down, Wiltshire, UK and has identified that Aeroflex Ltd, Stevenage, Herts, UK is the manufacturer of jammers, the associated control libraries and the test equipment utilised within the ATF. In DSTL's opinion, Aeroflex Ltd is the best qualified supplier to undertake the necessary enhancements to the jammer control software support to a future trial programme. This advertisement allows any challnge to be made to a single source strategy. Deliverables are: 1. All software code is to be produced in accordance with good programming practices; 2. A Design Document, explaining each source code function/routine and their inter-action; 3. A User Guide explaining all the functionality generated, and providing suitable jammer control examples to enable future operators to generate complex test scenarios. This document should also incorporate all information required to compile and link the source code to form an executable; 4. A Software Test document providing evidence that all requirements have been met; 5. Documentation recording any performance limitations identified, with regards to jammer control and synchronisation with the Spirent simulator; 6. Any hardware procured (e.g. to support time synchronisation).
