Two digitial PCR systems are required for:
A) DNA absolute quantitation;
B) relative quantitation of copy number variants;
C) SNP rare allele detection and quantitation.
The HPA laboratories are currently equipped for end-point and real-time PCR in 96- & 384-well plate format using strip-lids and adhesive plastic seals. Please tender for all pieces of additional equipment that we would require to operate your company's digital PCR system. The system or systems purchased as a result of this tender must be delivered in this financial year (April 2012 - March 2013).
It is intended to award a contract for a period of 5 years, with the option of two 12 month extensions.
It is intended that the equipment will be purchased in the first 2 years of the contract with the remainder of the period for service and support and for the supply of bespoke consumables.
