Substation construction work. Construction work for electricity power lines. The project comprises of the installation of a new feeder cables between Hinckley Primary Sub-Station and the MIRA site and the construction of a new Primary Sub-Station located adjacent to MIRA Technology Park. The project is part of a joint development between the contracting authority and MIRA Ltd. There will be a tripartite agreement between the contracting authority, MIRA Ltd and the successful bidder. MIRA Ltd will be responsible for contract management and the main point of contact. The contracting authority will receive and pay all invoices for the works.

Contract value: The successful contractor will provide a full design and build service and make all statutory applications necessary for rights and consents. The anticipated start date for works on site is June 2013.
