Fife Council has already submitted Pollution Prevention and Control (PPC) applications for their two active landfill sites, Lochhead near Dunfermline and Lower Melville Wood near Cupar and wish to appoint a consultancy firm, to provide technical advice on all aspects of landfill development and management. The Council also wishes to appoint a consultant to provide technical advice on the possible development of waste treatment and renewable power infrastructure. It would be the Council’s preference to appoint a single contractor for all of these issues.
