The Authority is looking to appoint a Service Provider(s) to deliver Extra Care Services at two settings in Lancashire: Lot 1 Oakbrook Gardens is an Extra Care scheme located in Preston, Lancashire with 24 hour care services. The scheme has 60 apartments. Lot 2 Lighthouse View is an Extra Care scheme located in Fleetwood, Lancashire. This scheme has 72 apartments. Tenderers can apply for one or both Lots and can be successful in one or both Lots. The Contracts will be for an initial 2 years, with the option to extend for any period(s) of up to a maximum of a further 2 years. Extra Care housing provides safe and secure self-contained accommodation for older adults who require varying levels of care and support to enable them to live independently in a home environment. The new Service is to deliver the Background Support and Emergency Response Service on a Block Arrangement as well as any required Planned Care and Support commissioned on a Spot Arrangement.
