The agency currently is looking to source a series of Borrelia serology testing kits for 2-stage testing of human samples, testing is mainly to be carried out at the Rare and Imported Pathogens Laboratory at the agency's Porton Down site, however there may be on occasion requirements at other locations. An additional component of this tender is the supply of control material for IQC quality assurance for borrelia tests.
It is feasible that testing for first and second stage testing, and IQC material could be awarded to separate suppliers/manufacturers.
