Contract value: Hertsmere Borough Council has an on-going requirement for the management of S106 income for the development of greenways within the jurisdiction of Hertsmere Borough. The Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced organisation to act as a managing organisation to oversee projects, let as a 4 year framework that would fulfil the process for implementing Greenways schemes in accordance with the Watling Chase Greenway Strategy.The successful consultant will be responsible for:1) Undertaking a desktop Feasibility assessment of each scheme.2) Developing short term strategies to parcel different Greenway projects together to ensure that they can be delivered more cost effectively, keeping in mind the expiration dates of certain corresponding planning obligations.3) Undertaking all necessary consultations, including, but not limited to community and landowners.4) Fully design the schemes.5) Tender the construction of each scheme in line with the Councils Contract Procedure Rules.6) Manage the construction contract to completion.
