Flagship Housing Group Limited operates a very sheltered housing scheme at Kessingland in Suffolk. The housing is physically integrated with a number of other community facilities and the entire development is located within, and is strongly connected with, the local community in an area of mixed housing, local shops, a primary school, a childrenâ€™s play area and other community facilities. A cafÃ© and full commercial kitchen facility owned by Flagship is incorporated within the very sheltered housing scheme, but the cafÃ© and kitchen have not been in operation for approximately the last six months. Scheme Profile â€¢ 32 Flats. Most single occupancy, but some couples. Resident profile: Over 55 years of age with minimum 4 hours per week care need. Residents are very sociable and will spend many hours outside their own flats. â€¢ Meeting Room used by Flagship staff or sub-let to other organisations from around the area.
