In recent years, Hounslow has succeeded in attracting considerable amounts of location filming. The Borough is the home of a number of high profile media companies including BSkyB, Discovery Communications, QVC and Paramount Pictures. It is also close to several film studios. It is a culturally and ethnically diverse Borough and has a number of historic properties and other attractive locations for filming.
The London Borough of Hounslow is re-tendering its Film Liaison service with respect to filming on all Council managed land and co-ordination of filming in public areas. The successful contractor will build on Hounslow’s success and promote the Borough as a filming location.
