The Low Emission Strategies Partnership (LESP) is a group of local authorities working together to improve air quality and tackle climate change, by reducing emissions from road transport. (www.lowemissionstrategies.org/) An important goal for the Partnership is to ‘provide accessible on-line information to guide local authorities; helping them to make good policies and take effective action to reduce air pollutants and greenhouse gases from local transport’. In order to achieve this goal the LESP is seeking to develop an online ‘information hub’ for Low Emission Strategies (LES) interventions and impacts. The ‘Low Emission Hub’ will focus on local policies, plans and measures that reduce transport emissions of air pollutants and greenhouse gases. It will comprise a database and web application, allowing users to view, search and browse different policies and measures. The LESP invites proposals to deliver its goal through scoping and development of the Low Emission Hub.
