To supply and install a cell line characterization instrument to supplement existing equipment (Agilent Bioanalyser). The instrument should have not require calibration before each use, should be able to measure cell number and viability relatively cheaply e.g. require only one single cassette per count, be able to confirm the presence of cell surface markers or compounds using conjugated antibodies for example, also be able to detect genetic features in cell lines through microarray analysis.
