The Institute of Contemporary Interdisciplinary Arts (ICIA) at the University of Bath invites expressions of interest for a computerised box office system. Through online sales, as well as over the counter and on the telephone, the system will enrol participants onto a wide range of classes and sell tickets for events to students and staff at the University as well as members of the public. In addition, the system will be required to provide comprehensive marketing functionality and financial reporting, alongside compatibility with existing University systems and administrative processes. With over 4000 patrons on existing databases, ICIA sells approximately 5,000 tickets and enrols 2,000 participants onto courses, with one main performance space at a capacity of 220 as well as a variety of smaller venues and rehearsal studios both on and off campus. With a major new capital development planned to add to existing facilities, including a new Performance Studio seating 150 and additional rehearsal spaces, these numbers are anticipated to increase significantly within three years.
