Service: Domiciliary Care Services Our Ref: CBC-0174-T-LS Details Central Bedfordshire Council invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced organisations to provide Domiciliary Care Services across Central Bedfordshire. Provision of services will focus on providing home based support. These services are to be provided to adults 18 years and over. This includes all older people (65+), carers, adults with a physical impairment, learning disabilities, with an autistic spectrum condition, mental ill health, sensory impairment, adults who require palliative care, dementia, challenging behaviours and parents with disabilities. This will also include provision of alternative care in the home to enable carers to take a break. The overall aim of this tendering exercise is to develop the domiciliary care market in Central Bedfordshire to ensure that people have access to high quality and effective service that are tailored to their needs, and enable them to remain independent in their own homes. The Council will work with providers to develop a stable and resilient market with capacity to deliver across the whole area. Prospective providers must be CQC registered and be able to demonstrate previous experience of similar work and be prepared to provide references. The successful providers will be contracted under a framework agreement which will set out all price and quality arrangements and the Council shall call off services from any of these providers as required. A framework contract will be awarded and shall be in place for three years with an option to extend for a further twelve months.
