Supply of Carpets to Kenwood House (grade 1 listed building)

Kenwood House is a grade 1 listed building, remodelled in the eighteenth century by Robert Adam which houses the internationally renowned Iveagh painting collection. This contract will be to produce up to 4 carpets and 2 hearth rugs of the correct design, quality and finish for display in the historic ground floor rooms at The Iveagh Bequest, Kenwood. The ‘Caring for Kenwood’ project involves the redisplay of the ground floor rooms and within this representation some new carpets and hearth rugs are required. The supplier will work with English Heritage and the project interior consultant to produce new carpets to historically-appropriate designs. Candidates will have worked in a similar historic interior environment, be able to provide samples for approval at specific deadlines and guarantee delivery for installation by September 2013. Candidates must have a good reputation for their professionalism, reliability and product quality. The contract will also include underlay, delivery to site (Hampstead Lane, London) and installation.
