Hampshire County Council has a programme of parapet and structural member painting of structures throughout the county of Hampshire. The Call-Off Agreement shall operate for four years from 1 May 2013 to 30 April 2017 and will be for highway structure painting improvement works with values between £5000 to £100000 per structure. A one year Defects Liability Period will be enforceable for one year following completion of an order for work under the Call-Off Agreement. It is anticipated that the council shall procure between £220000 and £750000 of work through the Call-Off Agreement over it's 4 year life, although there is no guarantee of any works being awarded by the council. The Call-Off Agreement shall operate using three Lots. Lot 1 - Highway Structures Painting - North & Central Hampshire. (Maximum 15 structures per year). Lot 2 - Highway Structures Painting - West & South Hampshire. (Maximum 15 structures per year). Lot 3 - Large Highway Footbridge Painting - Throughout Hampshire. (Maximum 3 Structures per year). Work during 2013 is as follows: Lot 1 - Structures Painting Contract 2013, North & Central Hampshire. Painting of highway bridge and footbridge parapets/structural members & roadside railings (road or footpath adjacent to/over water) throughout central and northern Hampshire. (10 sites) Estimated contract value £60 - £100k. Lot 2 - Structures Painting Contract 2013, West & South Hampshire. Painting of highway bridge and footbridge parapets/structural members (road or footpath adjacent to/over water) throughout west and south Hampshire. (7 sites) Estimated contract value £60 - £100k. Lot 3 - FB 757 Grange Road Footbridge Painting contract 2013. Painting of highway footbridge parapets/structural members (footbridge adjacent to/over road) in Hedge End, Hampshire. (1 site) Estimated value £100k. Lots 1 & 2 shall utilise the same specification utilising several multi coat paint systems. Lot 3 shall utilise an individual specification utilising several multi coat paint systems. During the works the Council will also employ an independent paint inspection company to ensure preparation and painting is carried out to specification.
