DH lawyers and staff will advise the Contractor on which sets of NHS terms and conditions are to be reviewed and revised. The DH will also advise the Contractor on NHS procurement policy that is to be reflected in the terms and conditions, such as policy on Innovation, SMEs and Sustainability. The current sets of NHS terms and conditions for goods and for services were last revised in September 2010. These sets are available on the DH website at: http://www.dh.gov.uk/en/Publicationsandstatistics/Publications/PublicationsPolicyAndGuidance/DH_121260. These sets also have guidance notes advising users on the purpose of each clause. Some work has been done on revising the NHS terms and conditions for The Purchase of Goods.
