Repair and Maintenance of Water Booster Pumps and Fire Hydrants The works shall consist of the annual and quarterly servicing, and the day-today responsive repair (including out of hours call-out for breakdowns) of water booster pumps. Servicing is to be carried out in three monthly intervals in accordance with the appropriate servicing schedule. In additional, the works shall include the annual servicing of fire hydrants in accordance with the appropriate servicing schedule. Repairs to Underground Water Services The underground works shall consist of locating burst pipes to underground water services and carrying out repairs/replacements as necessary (the works may involve working on mains under pressure). The Contractor will be required to carry out any manual and/or mechanical excavation work as necessary, including the full reinstatement of spoil to disturbed areas and replacement of associated paving and/or turf.
