DECC is looking for consultants to form a Panel of Technical Experts who will undertake scrutiny of the analysis on the electricity market, being done by the System Operator (National Grid), as part of the Electricity Market Reform (EMR) programme. The analysis will inform Government’s first EMR delivery plan to be published by the end of 2013, subject to Royal Assent. The expected duration of this contract is 12 months, commencing in January 2013. Responses are welcome from individual suppliers who meet some of the requirements or a consortia of individuals or an organisation which meets all the requirements, as set out in the tender documents. We will consider all bids whether individual or consortia against the evaluation criteria set out and procure the necessary number of consultants who would be able to fulfil the requirements listed. Please read the tender for details on requirements and criteria, as well as the contract terms which includes clauses on confidentiality and conflicts of interest.
