Formal tenders are invited to review the UK observation activities that relate to Climate Science and Risk Assessment and; Identify GCOS international climate standards and observations that UK should be meeting or providing within the Climate Science and Risk Assessment category. Identify (through the UK-EOF catalogue and partners) which data meet these standards. Perform a GAP analysis (GCOS vs. EOF) to identify areas where more data are needed. Plan an approach to promote awareness of standards and gaps to the UK community. Make recommendations for improving the UK-EOF catalogue so as to facilitate GCOS reporting.
