"The Flexible Support Fund (FSF) is intended to help Jobcentre Plus (JCP) District Managers to flexibly deliver elements of our service in the way they see fit for their Districts. In particular, the FSF enables JCP Districts to trial different approaches to tackling worklessness. Greater autonomy for District Managers will enable Jobcentre Plus to respond to one of the priorities of the coalition government - public service reform and the devolution of power from the centre to the front line. District Managers are best placed to deliver elements of our service effectively and efficiently, procuring external services where appropriate, in order to meet the needs of local customers. The Jobcentre Plus District of Cumbria & Lancashire intends to use FSF to fund this CV Writing Service provision. The aim of the provision is to provide an accessible CV Writing Service for pre Work Programme claimants. The provision will provide a professional quality detailed CV for each claimant. Each claimant’s CV will be tailored to the individual with particular regard to knowledge, skills, content, structure and language and to help the claimant compete effectively for jobs and increase their chances of achieving sustainable employment.
