The requirement is for the supply, installation and maintenance of either i) a suitable DCI digital projection and audio system that uses the existing projector (Barco DP2K15C) to create a 2-D and 3-D cinema facility or, ii) an equivalent fully comprehensive DCI digital solution with the capability of projecting 2-D and 3-D cinema films. To provide telephone helpline between 1000 and 2200 hours Mon – Fri and 1800-2200 hours Sat & Sun for technical support for the system, including the existing projector, if used, and an ad-hoc on-call maintenance and repair service for a period of 5 years. The cinema system is to be compatible with the existing computer and audio-visual projection system, in whatever elements they necessarily share or overlap, to allow the facility to function as a 2-D/3-D cinema, as well as a briefing facility (though not concurrently). PLEASE NOTE THAT THE AWARD CRITERIA IS THE LOWEST PRICE OF THE TECHNICALLY COMPLIANT BIDS AND NOT THE MOST ECONOMICALLY ADVANTAGEOUS TENDER (MEAT).
