For the provision of a Local Healthwatch for the Borough of Telford & Wrekin (Healthwatch Telford & Wrekin). The Health and Social Care Act 2012 puts a requirement on every Local Authority area to have in place a Local Healthwatch that will act as an independent consumer champion for publicly funded health and social care. Local Healthwatch shall ensure that local residents have a voice in the commissioning, provision and scrutiny of health and social care services.
