Developing training materials and providing training for both new and existing internal staff on technical aspects of smart metering.
Providing technical advice to Ofgem in respect of our strategy for monitoring compliance with the regulatory framework for smart metering.
Assessing impacts on consumers and industry parties of technical issues relating to the smart meter roll-out.
Technical metering and installation – advice on statutory obligations covering approvals, certification / stamping and in service reliability.
Advice on measuring instruments, standards, guidelines, measuring system audits.
Providing technical support relating to the introduction of biogas into gas distribution systems and gas quality.
Attending relevant internal and external meetings to provide technical input.
Drafting technical aspects of internal and external documents relating to smart metering or traditional metering.
