In order to satisfy tScheme and maintain DWP’s licences to operate an EAS Registration Authority, DWP requires its NRA to be independently audited as a matter of some urgency. This accreditation process has been agreed pan governmentally and compliance with tScheme was one of the conditions of DWP taking the lead on the EAS project. Process and Documentation review We require a review of the DWP processes and documentation relevant to tScheme to assess our implementation and operation of the NRA (including local bodies) in accordance with the requirements of the tScheme profiles set out below: - Identity registration - Attribute registration - Credential management - Whether the documentation meets the requirements of tScheme for the identified profiles - That we have systems and processes in place to carry out the processes and procedures as documented - That we have staff allocated in each local body (local authorities, Northern Ireland Agencies and private sector) and trained to deliver the service as documented.
