The service provider will work with the Ministry of Health (MOH) to provide family planning services (and related sexual health services) to the rural women, girls, poor and vulnerable and to develop an exit strategy and strengthen their capacity to sustain expanded delivery of family planning services beyond the life of the programme. The PFPS will enable Malawi’s contraceptive use to become more efficient and effective by better advocacy and better programming: ensuring a more appropriate mix of contraception reaches the group most in need of knowledge and services, namely the young and rural populations via a range of mechanisms.
