Central Bedfordshire Council has recently undertaken their Customer First Programme which aims to provide better services at lower cost with the provision of an online Customer Portal. A Voice Recognition solution is regarded as an enabler for realising Customer First benefits and cost savings by automating call direction and releasing Customer Service Advisor (CSA) time to focus on resolving the call types they are trained in. The Council is now seeking a supplier that can provide a suitable voice recognition system on time and on budget. Prospective contractors must be able to demonstrate previous experience of similar work and be prepared to provide references.
